Love life together
Rising to the challenge of “I’m bored” is never easy! There’s a great big world out there just waiting to be explored (even if it’s only in the back garden). We’ve put together some great ideas below and you can find out more about what’s going off in your region by using the postcode search, simply click here.
The park is your oyster! Go for a game of rounders, get busy in the sandpit and pack a quick picnic. Ask friends and neighbours if they want to join in the fun – the more the merrier!
Find out what’s happening at your local leisure centre. From swimming lessons to dance classes, volleyball for older kids to soft play areas for tots, it’s all good fun that the weather can’t spoil.
Buy a game of skittles for the back garden. Or try some outdoor messy play with paints, paper and glitter.
If it’s raining, bake a cake. Little kids love a disco in the living room and the whole family can get stuck into a good board game (it’s surprising how good the old-fashioned stuff can be).
And if it’s still raining, grab the kids’ wellies and jump in puddles!
For days out try farm centres, theme parks, trips to the seaside and adventure parks. Find your nearest by clicking here
Kids will be kids
We all know that scrapes, cuts and bruises are a part of childhood – but don’t let them stop the fun! When you’re out and about pop a few plasters in your car, bag or pocket, for little kids Finding Nemo © Knee and Elbow Plasters are ideal for those annoying little cuts and grazes. Alternatively, SilverHealing plasters kill germs with no need for separate antiseptics. Finally, a basic first aid kit is a must. Think Elastoplast antiseptic dressing, SOS Burn Spray and plenty of plasters.
