Elastoplast Protective Knee Suppory

I found the Elastoplast Protective Knee Support was very helpful and contributed to decreasing the pain in my knee. I mostly wore it to work where my job involves a lot of bending and twisting which always puts extra pressure on my knee. It felt secure and didn't make my skin sweaty.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to test this support. It arrived promptly and well packaged. Very easy to put on, fully adjustable so will fit a vast array of legs. Keep the circle to your knee and pull the straps around to fix to your own tension. Stand up, sit down, walk about and adjust until you're comfortable, when you've got in the right position and tension you'll forget you've got it on and you'll feel the support as you move around. I found it very therapeutic not only from the support whether I was upright or sitting or moving but you get a warmth as well which is so helpful to painful joints. I'm very happy with this support and whole heartedly recommend it.

Elastoplast knee support

I have been using this product for nearly 10 days.The Elastoplast Knee Support helped reduce the pain in my knee, it is firm and breathable. It is very easy to use and does not look bulky under clothing. Its also very comfortable to wear. I would highly recommend this product to everyone who is experiencing a knee pain.

Application

Step 1

Place support over knee ensuring smooth side faces the skin and the hole covers the knee cap.

Step 2

While holding the support in place and stretching the leg, cross the two top straps (with brand logo) behind and above the knee and attach in front to the support.

Step 3

Cross the two bottom straps under your knee and attach them to the support. Adjust tension to desired comfort and support.

1. When and how should I wear the Protective Knee Support?

It is recommended to wear the Protective Knee Support during activities that lead to discomfort. Knee Supports are usually worn directly on the skin. However, if it is more convenient to you, you can also wear it over thin, tight fitting clothes. For the Protective Knee Support, you should take care to apply the product without lateral folds and to position the patella ring right around your kneecap. The support can be worn on the left and the right knee. For detailed application advice see the provided information on the folding box.

2. Precautions and warnings to be considered when wearing Knee Supports

The Protective Knee Support should only be used on clean, intact skin. While wearing, make sure the product is not uncomfortably tight and blood flow is not restricted. Avoid wearing for prolonged periods e.g. whilst sleeping.

If a rash develops, pain is prolonged or conditions worsen, discontinue use and consult a physician.
3. When should I NOT wear the Protective Knee Support?

Do not use if you suffer rom vascular diseases or have a known allergy to any of the specific materials:
Polyester, Spandex, Ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA), Nylon, Styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR)
4. Does the Protective Knee Support contain any metal?

The Protective Knee Support does not contain any metal. The patella cushion is made of EVA (Ethylene-vinyl acetate).
5. Can I wash the Protective Knee Support?

Yes. All Elastoplast Supports are made with machine-washable materials. Here’s how to care for your support: For products with Velcro® straps, fasten them securely at the place provided on the support. Machine wash your support in cold/cool water (~30ºC) using the gentle or delicate cycle. Wash separately using laundry detergent with no additives (do not use fabric softener or Woolite, do not use bleach). Lay your support flat and let it air dry; do not put it in the dryer. Proper washing and drying helps your knit support maintain elasticity and original fit.
6. How should I store the Protective Knee Support?

The product should be kept in a cool and dry place. Keep away from direct sunlight.
