Antibacterial Waterproof XL/XXL: sterile plaster with antibacterial silver

Elastoplast Antibacterial Waterproof XL and XXL plasters are sterile wound dressings for waterproof protection of medium to large everyday wounds. They are suitable after minor surgery.


With their waterproof, flexible film and strong adhesion, the plasters are ideal for washing, showering, bathing and swimming. The extra-large wound pad contains antibacterial silver for optimal healing conditions. Silver is recommended by experts for its broad-spectrum antibacterial effect, which reduces the risk of infection.

 
The plasters are available in two sizes, which seal all around the wound to prevent contamination: 
  • XL – 6 x 7cm
  • XXL – 8 x10 cm

The antiseptic silver wound pad is effective against a broad spectrum of bacteria and reduces the risk of infection.

How to use

Clean the wound and gently wipe away any foreign objects such as dirt or grit.
Dry the skin around the cut or graze very carefully.

Apply plaster without stretching, and avoid creases.

Use each plaster only once.
For optimal healing, do not use topical preparations in conjunction with silver as they may reduce its antibacterial effect.
