Elastoplast Social Mission

Whether it's playing football, climbing, or riding a bike, children love being active and turning everyday into an adventure. From time to time, this can lead to accidents.

As a leader in wound care, we believe educating children in first aid is essential, as the knowledge helps to develop an awareness of safety from a young age and empowers kids with confidence to act effectively in emergency scenarios.

That's why, Beiersdorf has launched a new social mission to guide our activities going forward, providing First Aid Education to Children around the World, and pledging to teach 200,000 children in first aid by 2025.

Elastoplast Kids First Aid Programme

To live up to Beiersdorf's new social mission, Elastoplast UK launched a Kids First Aid Programme to empower the next generation of lifesavers by teaching first aid from a young age.

The basis behind our programme is to teach children the fundamentals of first aid in an accessible way, helping to develop early first aid awareness and lifelong habits of caution and care.

The programme includes free, downloadable and interactive digital resources for children aged 4-7 (Reception & KS1 students). The resources have been created in conjunction with active teaching staff as well as the approval and input of the Australian Council for Health, Physical Education and Recreation (ACHPER).
